Frauen, die sich jungaltern, haben echte Männer an ihrer Seite. Echte Männer? - Na Männer, die mit der Grillzange in der Hand geboren wurden und gern wie ihre behaarten Vorfahren am Feuer sitzen – natürlich mit dem kleinen 20170506_161033 (2)Unterschied, dass die heutigen Männer ein Gläschen Alkohol dabei haben. Es ist auch ein leidenschaftliches Ritual dieser Männer, einen Kesselgulasch zuzubereiten. Natürlich schmeckt ein Kesselgulasch auch allen Frauen, die der Fleischeslust nicht abgeschworen haben, nicht verzückt auf einem Salatblatt kauen und nicht von der Konfektionsgröße 36 träumen. Aber neben dem Geschmackserlebnis eines Kesselgulasches ist der eigentliche Nervenkitzel, Männern bei den Vorbereitungen zuzuschauen. 20170506_165332 (2)Nimm dir die Zeit und beobachte Männer wie sie Fleisch schneiden oder mit ihrem XXL-Holzlöffel aus der Slowakai die Zutaten im großen Kessel über dem Feuer verrühren. Das ist ein Bild voller Leidenschaft und Hingabe.

Und besonderer Bewunderung kann sich ein Mann sicher sein, wenn er das passende Outfit zu seinem Kesselgulasch trägt. 20170506_152107 (2)Die schönste Männerschürze der Welt besitzt aber schon mein Onkel Lazo! Sieh bitte selbst!  20170506_152043 (2)Dieses Modell ist so scharf wie sein Kesselgulasch. Das muss auch niemanden verwundern, denn er kommt aus Osteuropa, wo der Kesselgulasch bereits im Mittelalter von Rinderhirten gelöffelt worden ist. Einst war der Kesselgulasch dünnflüssig, also suppenähnlich. Heute ist es eine dicke Pampe mit vielen diversen Zutaten.

Ursprünglich war das so genannte Rinderhirtenfleisch der Magyaren aus Ungarn der eigentliche Ursprung des Kesselgulaschs. Sie stellten ein Dreibein 20170506_161038 (2)auf und garten ihr Fleisch auch schon in einem großen Topf über dem Feuer.

Später naschten auch Männer von Stand vom Kesselgulaschlöffel und  wurden danach süchtig. Die bürgerlichen und adligen Mannsbilder konnten sich dem dem Reiz dieser Essenszubereitung nicht länger entziehen und sorgten so für den globalen Siegeszug des Kesselgulasches.

Heute gibt es unzählige Rezepte für den Kesselgulasch. Die Zutaten meines Onkels für seinen exellenten Kesselgulasch bleiben ein Geheimnis und werden mündlich an seine Nachkommen überliefert. So lautet seine Ansage. Ich glaube aber eher, dass er kein Rezept hat, sondern immer Wurzelwerk & Co aus seinem Garten verarbeitet.20170506_152209 (2)

Die Hauptzutaten sind wohl immer Rindfleisch, Zwiebeln, Paprika, Suppengrün, Ajvar, Knoblauch, Butterschmalz und geheime Zutaten je nach Land und Region und natürlich Männerschweiß. Manchmal kann man die Zutaten des Kesselgulasches nicht richtig schmecken,20170506_144117 (2)da alles zusammen verkocht ist oder die Geschmacksnerven bereits durch viel Schnaps betäubt sind. Aber das macht nichts, denn der Magen freut sich trotzdem.20170506_144121 (2)

Jetzt, da die Sonne wieder sommerlich lacht, ist ein Kesselgulasch im Kreise der Familie oder mit Freunden eine super Idee. Und nach dem Kesselgulasch geht die Party natürlich am Lagerfeuer weiter. 20170506_215243 (2)Das Praktische ist, dass die Glut des Kesselgulsches gleich für das Lagerfeuer genutzt werden kann. Mein Onkel ist genial, denn 20170506_221026 (2)er kann seine Feuerstelle vom Kesselgulasch mit einer Blechmanschette erweitern und hat so eine große Feuerschale.
